I've seen her on a lot of your charts, anyone else seriously have it bad for Kate? The Dreaming and Hounds of Love are immaculate 80s pop obviously, but her whole career just fascinates me- all the while her legacy, at least here in the States, seems totally unfulfilled.

-Favorite Kate moments?

When "Waking the Witch" kicks in I really get pumped up- the "Get out of my House" donkey breathing at the end rules, also the title track of "hounds of love" in general makes me nostalgic for the last time i listened to it. All the outrageous singing all over "Dreaming" is just splendid.

- anyone actually like "new vocal" version of Wuthering Heights (The Whole Story version) over the Kick Inside version? I think I might............

-Her videos make me feel like I'm climbing the rope in gym class..."Sat in Your Lap" especially... also Babooshka... Anyone else?

Yeah I was pretty much in love with her as well back around 85 I guess... I still listen to Cloudbusting very often, what a masterpiece of a song...
Wuthering heights of course still holds itself brilliantly as well. I must admit I was never a big fan of her albums though (except The Kick inside), there's always two or three tracks which sound a bit bland to me...
As far as her legacy is concerned, she sure has inspired a whole host of lady singers out there. Quite a fascinating character for sure. Plus she was extremely attractive.

Anyone who writes "Wuthering Heights" has my deepest respect.

I haven't heard much of her, but from what I've heard she's awesome. Yeah, she also sounds hot from her music - maybe that's why sinead o'connor shaved her head so people wouldn't masturbate after seeing her music videos. Kate Bush wanted that shit though.

Kate Bush is my special friend and favorite artist of the 80s, guys. And look at the way she looks into the camera. Elston is right. She wanted it.

Kate Bush may well be the perfect woman.

Talented, intelligent... mad as a bag of spanners.

I think she's the reason I like Tori Amos, bjork, sinead o'connor, Tanita Tikaram and those kind of female artists, they are so much more interesting than the blonde-u-like homogenous give us another stenciled vacuous- couldn't distinguish one from the other bimbos that plague the earth.

Kate Bush AND minotaurs! One of her weirdest singles, but a classic nevertheless.
