I don't even think it's bad. It's OK. Some songs are very catchy, and others are just plain boring, and overall, it's enjoyable enough.

This was one of my first album obsessions (I was, like, 12). I have an intense nostalgia for it, but the obsession has definitely worn off, to say the least. I never kept up with the Foo Fighters beyond this album and the debut. "Everlong" is the best track. And "Hey, Johnny Park!"

Everlong is genuinely one of my favourite songs ever, some of the rest of the album is decent enough I guess, I like Monkey Wrench and My Hero. _________________ Shut up mate you're boring!

The Foo Fighters get plenty of hate around here, but I think this album is a masterpiece and I don't give a hoot who knows it. No song I don't love on this one. The songs everyone knows are great, but the deeper cuts are where this album especially shines. New Way Home is one of my all time favorite closers. Exceptional songwriting. Grohl may have fallen into a certain pattern as time went on, but it's not evident here.

It's very meh. I like "Monkey Wrench" and "See You" and that's about it. I really, really don't get the hype over "Everlong", either. It's one of the worst tracks on the album, imo.
But yeah, not terrible, just not something I'd ever voluntarily listen to.

This has some great tracks, but the album is uneven (like all their albums). I am inclined to call this their best album, just because of the songs it does have: Hey, Johnny Park, Monkey Wrench, Everlong, and My Hero.

The acoustic tracks aren't very good and are very jarring to hear after the excellent electric tracks. But seriously, "Everlong" is just as great as anything Nirvana ever did and is one of my all time favorite alt rock songs

I find the album quite mediocre (especially Monkey Wrench) but Everlong is a huge step up from anything else the Foo Fighters have ever done I think
