Let's see some love for this album. The opening and closing tracks are undeniably masterpieces, and everything in between is great Bowie. I would put this album as my second favorite Bowie, after Low. I threw a best song poll on here for fun. Let's do this, people!

As odd as it may sound this is one of my favorite bits from Bowie; it might have a little filler here and there but I love the arrangements on this one.

For me, Young Americans and Fame are great, and everything else in between is sort of insufferable. One of my least favorite Bowie albums for this reason.

I tend to avoid the album, but I'm sure I'll get around to listening to it again at some point. When I do, I'll try to pay attention to that one.

I voted for Somebody Up There Like Me for old times sake, 'cause it was on San Andreas' K-DST radio

this album pretty much sums up Bowie's career. Inconsistent, but when he's good, he's otherworldly good. Title track is perfect

"Young Americans", "Fame", and "Fascination" are the standouts, the rest of the songs are good but not all that memorable. Overall, I would place this somewhere in the middle of Bowie's classic albums, it has a very laid back, soulful sound that sets it apart from the others and makes it a rather enjoyable listen if you want to take things easy.

I know it divides people, but I'm also a fan of the Across the Universe cover.

Well it's a really tough song to ruin. But I think there's been much better versions. Rufus Wainwright and Fiona Apple's versions are both phenomenal
