Will the amount of kilobytes for avatars be increased soon? I made a gif at 80x80 pixels, but takes 43.6 kilobytes. I won't reveal the avatar, but I really want to use it. I couldn't find any new information regarding these avatars, and I wonder if an upgrade will be made?

In addition to this, could signature pixels be increased please...? It's a pain having to decrease the size of slightly too big images.

Just compress it using an image editor to get it under the threshold.

The reason signature images are restricted in size is to make the forums easer to read, so the size will stay as it is for the time being. Previously, it was very difficult trying to read anything on the forums as the content was getting crowded out by people's signatures & forum pages were taking too long to load.
