Lets say you're lost in the jungle in Papa New Guinea, you have your iPod and some portable speakers. You come across a group of friendly tribesmen who see you're in distress and give you food and water. You're the first person from outside their tribe they've met. In exchange for their hospitality you share with them one of the greatest parts of Western/Globalised society has to offer - recorded music. They have no context to put this into so you're appealing to the most primal instincts, but you at the same time you want to blow their fucking minds. What song would you pick?

Personally I'd pick Seven Nation Army, something about the riff resonates with on a very primal level I feel.

*Side Note: Their minds are obviously going to be blown first my the magic musical square in your pocket.

Johann Sebastian Bach - Orchestral Suite No. 3
particularly Air on the G String.

for some reason i think that any song with lyrics would detract from the emotion of the music. especially to a culture who had never before experienced music in that sense.

I don't like third world music, what makes you think I'll associate with third world people?
