I love Rome. Beautiful city, so rich in history. Food is wonderful, the buildings are beautiful, the streets are lively. Can't ask for anything else!

London, always a favourite, perhaps more for cultural reasons
Lisbon is the loveliest big city I've ever traveled to. So quiet for a capital. Never felt such genuine pleasure in just walking around with no particular goal but getting gently lost.
Reunion Island is amazing. In the course of one day's trek you could encounter mayve 5 different natural milieux, from volcano to jungle to Alps-like fields to tropical seashore to whatever. Incredible.

This. Went there for my honeymoon.
In the US, I have a crush on Yellowstone NP. I'd like to have a favorite place in Europe, but I haven't been there since I was a kid. I should go back at some point and just explore the continent.

Stayed in a nice town beside Lake Garda (Peschiera del Garda) which was beautiful. The lake was just breath-taking, it was such a pristine blue.

So yeah, that's the best place I've travelled to, though it was a bit too hot in summer (averaging around 36 Celsius).
