For me:
U.S. - "Lady Marmalade" - Labelle
U.K. - "Bye Bye Baby" - The Bay City Rollers
Aus. - "Please Mr. Postman" - The Carpenters
EDIT: Looking at the day in music, and ironically, on my 25th birthday the Bay City Rollers made the news again...when their drummer was arrested for possessing kiddie porn ๐ _________________ <(: @ :)>
Also on my March birthday, for an_outlaw (I think he had a lot of MSP in his chart when he had one) :
2002, The seven-year mystery of missing Manic Street Preachers guitarist Richey Edwards took a grisly twist when human feet were found near where he vanished in 1995. _________________ <(: @ :)>
US: The First I Ever Saw Your Face- Roberta Flack
UK: Amazing Grace- The Pipes & Drums & Military Band of The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Wow! That's a Random One)
AUS: Without You- Nilllson
Not too excited about the songs. It's too bad the site doesn't tell you the number one album.
Here's kind of a cool fact though about my birthday:
"1972, Bruce Springsteen auditioned for CBS Records A&R man John Hammond in New York. Springsteen played a short set for him in his office; Hammond was so impressed that he arranged a real audition that night at the Gaslight Club in New York for other Columbia executives. Bruce passed the audition."
And to think, there's that recent thread about Bruce.
