I received an itunes gift card and I'm trying to find an album to buy from it and I'm wondering if the new White Stripes is worth it.

Very good album in their canon, some of the songs are better here than on the studio versions. Also, yes, Jack White really does rip shit up on some of the tracks, particularly Icky Thump (which along with Jolene, Slowly Turning Into You, and Let's Shake Hands are highlights of the album)
I would recommend buying or renting the film the songs come from, however, because you appreciate them even more after seeing their live versions.

This album was fantastic. One of the best of 2010 for sure. It's about time TWS came out with a live album.
