This chart is under construction. There may not be many albums included as I only add material which I own on Vinyl, CD or Tape. Given tapes went out of production many years ago and I stopped buying CD's several years ago, it will only New vinyl albums of merit which are added now.

Saw Simple Minds tour this at Plymouth Pavillions a few years ago. A brilliant album imo, lots of synth textures and great to see Mel Gaynor back in the drum stool using some electric drums again. Big Music, Blood Diamonds and Honest Town are excellent. Best album since New Gold Dream I reckon.
And to follow up my original comment above, the vinyl version has just been delivered to my door (6/6/18) and this is one of the best albums I have bought on vinyl in a long time, has a real punch that you don't get with the CD. It should be in the top five in the Simple Minds chart listings imo! [First added to this chart: 08/08/2022]

A really good album, quite dreamy and ethereal in parts. The drums are recorded quite forward in the mix and sound like a drum machine (which it could actually be) at times, this isn't a criticism, I actually like it. 'Magic' and 'True Love' are personal favourites.
