Fair warning; this album is a grower, but it is richly rewarding if you're willing to spin it a couple times. Incredible songwriting. He's drawn comparisons to the likes of Leonard Cohen and Jeff Buckley for good reason.

Norman Bates compared this favorably to Tim Buckley, and it didn't disappoint. There's something rather Lorca-esque about this album. There's a similar appreciation for space. Likewise for Talk Talk's Laughing Stock. There's a hint or two of Nina Simone in the mix as well. I can't recommend this enough.

The tear continues. Gene Wilder stars in King Crimson's latest masterpiece, Sweeney Todd. These cats play so tight, and they continue to build on their songwriting, bringing in new techniques and surprises.
