i am discovering a lot of new-to-me artists that i like this year, which makes my assessments a bit discombobulated. current positions are mostly kneejerk reactions to first listens, which are pretty unreliable for me, especially for new artists. needless to say, i'm still getting up to speed on what's been going on in this lovely little 2025.
