My #1 release by Okean Elzy. All the tracks flow into each other very well. The instrumentation and the production actually improved from "Model". Though it barely boasts any hits compared to both earlier and later releases, all the tracks are memorable and fit very well into the album. Poetic lyrics, enjoyable piano, strings, the good mix of occasional heavy guitars, good rhythm, sweet melodies and moody atmosphere... If you're just looking for hit tracks, "Maiyje Besna" is the most popular track on here, then "Divchyna" and "Dlya Tebe" are live staples. But honestly, this album is better enjoyed as a whole.

Model or Supersymmety? The choice many Okean Elzy fans may struggle with. How can they not when "Model" holds tracks like "Kvitka, "Drug", "Vstavaiy" and "Coco Shanel"? From start to finish this album never ceases to amaze or intrigue. Definitely a step up from the already amazing "Yananebibuv". The only negative thing I can force myself to say is that the closing track (which is also great) feels a bit long (and only at 5minutes, when there's artists like Pink Floyd and Bob Dylan out there, the forced criticism is a bit of a stretch). Maybe I would have put the Drug Part 1 and Part 2 into 1 track? Seriously, just listen to the album.

The energy, after having listened to "Gloria" first, was both unexpected and very welcome. You can hear in this record that the potential that was in "Tam De Nass Nema" had finally bloomed. Amazing album from top to bottom, with only slight "weak points" in songs like "Africa" and "Poyacny", but that's just from comparing them to the rest of the tracks on the album. Rightfully takes its spot at #3 of my top Okean Elzy records.

Gloria was initially my #1 record by this band. It’s creative, slightly jazzy/bluesy, yet still alternative rock. It probably helped that it was the first record I decided to listen to. I didn't know it at the time, but following the Orange Revolution, the band had a line-up change for this record. You can kind of hear it if you compare it with their trilogy released before this. It boasts more hit songs than any of their previous records in 2005, and the songs generally flow well into each other. "Bez Boyu" is a Ukrainian favorite. Over time I just found some of the songs slightly less memorable, but this is still a great record, nonetheless.

All-in-all this was a good effort that did not quite live up to their previous records in 2007, but given time and a few listens, it showed it has a lot of choice cuts on it that are worth the time spent listening to the full record.

Finally, a new record by one of my favorite bands of all time, after 8 years since "Bez Mej". The single "Mykachevo" properly hyped up this album and sets the tone right off the bat. Some might say that starting with your best track might let down the rest of the album, but for this one with tracks like "Yak Nikoly”, “2000 Miles", "Shile" and "Dyxotomiya", that is not the case. When comparing it to other Okean Elzy releases, this one finally sits between "Dolce Vita" and "Bez Mej", though it's honestly a tight race. "Bez Mej" may have a greater number of popular tracks (at least for the moment), I actually find "Toy Den" to be a creative step up from the slightly monotonous 2016 record.

The only issue with this album is that the tracks are both simple and sound slightly similar to each other, at least compared to their previous work. That being said, I am hard pressed to find one song that I don't like on here. Lyrically, it is very heartfelt, most likely because of it being released a couple years after the Revolution of Dignity, the annexation of Crimea and the War in the Donbas. He often plays "Everest" for the Armed Forces of Ukraine today, and "He Tvoya Viyna" is fitting for the conflict in their country.
