Matures on Jan 2025's 'Felix', although Sallis is still at his best in late album tracks such as 'Mandolin Gun' and 'Contact Hours' when the pain is guttural, tactile and smothered in doomscrolling Sunday night horror.

Closer 'Yesteryear' is a softer triumph with hints of 'Eternal Sunshine of a Trumpless Mind'.
