Great song to close out a great album. I wouldn't call it their greatest song but a favorite on this album. Townshend is a genesis.

A high-water mark of the classic rock era and an absolutely sensational album closer.
And oh yeah, Roger Daltrey’s vocal performance that everyone else has already mentioned. Outstanding.
Great climax to the album.
Possibly my favorite song ever
One of the greatest vocal performances in rock, and one of the greatest ballads of all time.
