Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track is rated in the top 19% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 77.6/100, a mean average of 77.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 77.8/100. The standard deviation for this track is 14.4.

My favourite on Side 2. I like the mood and atmosphere created by the instrumentation on the intro to the song.

With lines like "Reach out, hands in the air, don't care," you can tell that this is a pop song through and through, and unsurprisingly the rest of the lyrics are fairly sappy too. But it's a solid pop song overall. Rutherford's groovy bass work on this one really shines, as it does wonders in moving along the melody in combination with Collins' drumming. You could argue that there's a hint of prog on this one with that backward sample of an old cello suite that opens and closes the song, made to sound like Banks' synthesizers. It's far from their strongest album closer, but a good enough way to end the record (certainly better than Abacab's album closer, Another Record).
