Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 90.7/100, a mean average of 89.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 90.9/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.8.

How did 5/4 ever slap so hard?
Perfect choice to open. Absolutely love the guitar.
A personal favorite! A great way to start a perfect album, with an upbeat electronic sound. Also, the bassline is fantastic!
not my fav but very good with the guitares
KGB: oh, i've forgotten about that! but still think thom is better (love morrisey though)
jnfbn: Morrissey, see "Sweet And Tender Hooligan".
Find me someone who says ''et cetera'' better than Thom, I'll wait...
a fine song on its own, but its a horrible way to start the album. It begins so jarringly, and doesn't gain the more ethereal and melodic feel of the rest of the album until the end
More of this please
Sweet opening track :)
