What an amazing song. The drums are perfectly mixed, and I love the way the bass and the guitar go together. It's like really beautiful elevator music, in a way. When I focus all my attention on it, I start to remember events in my life that I thought were completely erased from my memory, if that makes sense. That weird nostalgia where it feels like you're not remembering things you did a long time ago, but things you watched in a TV show with you as the main character. That might not make any sense but that's why I love this song. (Edited)
Well I don't really hear elements of Everything In Its Right Place in this song apart from they are both quality. The guitars are so beautiful in this song and Thom's voice and lyrics sync in with it very well. This is probably in my top five songs of the decade. (Edited)
Oh my gah, where do I even begin. The beautiful guitar layering, the great, everything! It transitions to parts so smoothly and after a while the drums get more heavy going into the ride, it's so satisfying. The ending is such a great part of the song too, it feels relaxed, different, but very fitting at the same time. I love this song, and everything from this gosh dang band. (Edited)
