Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 92.5/100, a mean average of 91.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 92.6/100. The standard deviation for this track is 13.8.

Oh my gah, where do I even begin. The beautiful guitar layering, the great, everything! It transitions to parts so smoothly and after a while the drums get more heavy going into the ride, it's so satisfying. The ending is such a great part of the song too, it feels relaxed, different, but very fitting at the same time. I love this song, and everything from this gosh dang band.

Fun fact: I was driving across the Severn Bridge in the UK in autumn, later afternoon sunshine drizzled across the Severn estuary, bathing it in this pale orange glow that glistened over the water and filled the horizon.

Few songs could have provided a better soundtrack.

Beautiful song. Intense, yet soothing. I hear elements of "Everything In Its Right Place" from "Kid A" on here.
