Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 89.3/100, a mean average of 88.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 89.6/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.3.

Waterfall is probably my 2nd favourite track on the album after I am the resurrection.
It sort of encapsulates the whole album into one song. Psychedelic guitar riffs with one of the great guitarists of the last forty years. The harmonies are fantastic as well.
One of the things I love about the song is that Reni and ian sing together throughout the entire song. That’s a great sound.
I’m a huge sucker for great guitar playing and John Squire on here is utterly brilliant.
like a music of animation movie with cute animals in the leading roles. keep calm, this doesnt mean its bad.
If only history had been more kind to the Stone Roses. They could have been huge; mixing Shoegaze, Noise Pop, Post-Rock, Madchester, Grunge, and Britpop into a future album. If they hadn't ran out of steam, they could have been the next big thing. I could just imagine the 1992 album, Fool's Gold; how amazing would that album be.
Unfortunately, we got Second Coming. Great name for an album, but poor execution. If you take ratings from this website, there were only three or five songs worth listening to on that whole entire album.
