the album kicks off smokey, ethereal, impressionistic. this is not quite the same band who released boy, october or war. this is a new era. this might be my favorite album opener from u2, though where the streets have no name and zoo station are close. i love everything about this track though, and it's perfect for track one.
One of the best songs of the 80's. I was sad that they did not play it in Brazil.
