I remember this being released as a single around the same time a documentary was shown about Xtc in the studio and recording this song; recall thinking 'that's not a good single, too slow & ponderous' and of course I was right (of course), the single bombed, but my hasn't this song stood the test of time well? It stands up as one of the most perfectly constructed pop songs Xtc ever made.
