Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 6% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 79.7/100, a mean average of 78.9/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 79.9/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.8.

Another great vocal from Pete. Subtle guitar work in the background and it builds nicely with Phil beating a pattern.
The calm during the storm. As Rael rescues John from the rapids, the melody slowly burns alongside Gabriel's charming vocals. The instrumentation is ahead of its time, too. It seriously sounds like a song that Phil Collins-era Genesis could have released. There's some great understated guitar work from Hackett in there as well. And then, as it comes to a climax (like most Genesis songs do), an all-time great twist. It's not John that Rael saved. He rescued himself! Another heavily underrated cut. Short but excellent.
This is the album's denouement. Slow and loping.
