Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. Apart from in the bridge, Ive always thought that the music does not work with the lyrics. Tonally the two are completely contrasting.
This song is just plain annoying.
The chorus actually sounds a bit annoying to my ears, but apart from that this track is ok.
Cool track!
The Beatles first venture into peace and love territory. The word, is really a precursor to their own summer of love anthem, all you need is love, and though the lyrics maybe slightly naive, it's still an excellent track, brilliantly delivered, with the whole band on top form. One of the best of Rubber soul's many superb tracks.
An OK track. I wasn't too impressed, but it was good.
