Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 18% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 78.1/100, a mean average of 77.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 78.2/100. The standard deviation for this track is 13.6.

What, the bassman a gives his instrument some deep slaps. heavy stuff man..
Much like Moonchild on ITCOTCK, Providence is a lot of improvisational noise that is difficult to listen to if you don't know what to expect. I do think it's pretty interesting though, and there's some organization, so it's not just a cacophony of sound. And if you're patient enough, there are some pretty awesome drum patterns and killer bass play in the second half of the song. All in all, it's a solid track, though not one I would revisit very often outside of the context of the album.
This song gives me chills. It is just top notch. The bass is perfect, what an amazing job by John Wetton!! He makes the song.

this is a cool song. sometimes I dont like king crimsons free improv stuff, but this one is pretty fun

Por momentos suena a musica clasica, cambia a progresivo y por partes parece una pieza de grunge, muy experimental
