Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track has a Bayesian average rating of 77.1/100, a mean average of 76.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 77.1/100. The standard deviation for this track is 14.8.

I agree the lyrics are pretty ordinary but its a nice tune. I like it. Now where is my lollypop ?
This is in my opinion the worst Beatles song by far. A 10 year old kid could have written better lyrics. The descriptiveness is very basic “when I’m walking beside her, people tell me I’m lucky, yes I know I’m a lucky guy, I remember the first time, I was lonely without her, can’t stop thinking about her now”. Very lame. Arrangement is average tho.
One of the rare Beatles tracks that Paul McCartney writes but John Lennon takes the lead vocals. It's one of the album's best tracks in my opinion, very underrated. Decent song.

The chorus is magical: it sort of predicts the future folk/psychedelic direction. However, the lyrics make you roll out your eyes, a love lyric written by a 12-year-old.

It was pretty good. Catchy at least.
