Lots of repetition here, but it makes it work when the vocals and instrumentation really liven up midway through. Definitely has traces of classic Supertramp, though I think this one is a little more unique from the band's typical sound, which helps it stand out in Hodgson's solo discography. I guess my biggest complaint is that the choruses aren't as satisfying to listen to as they should be given the energy the rest of the song exudes. Aside from that, really nice tune. Right on the border between good and great for me.
