Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 89.5/100, a mean average of 88.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 89.8/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.4.

Stunning and beautiful. Indie done right.
In my opinion, this is Marr's greatest guitar construction and the rhythm section on this track (the whole record, really) is outstanding. Then add Morrissey's evisceration of his cruel treatment at school, and you have one of the Smiths' greatest songs.
Such a good song lyrically and musically, I get the feels with this one.
A top ten Smiths song for me, the rhythm of the song is the driving force to the sound. Interesting lyrics of Morrissey's school life
Incredible strong way to start, the bass sounds strong and excellent, completely 80s style, but, really sounds incredible
