Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 92.8/100, a mean average of 91.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 93.0/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.1.

That the Velvets can be so tender and delicate is really what makes them a great band.
peak* lol
Best song to play in the morning of sunday.
This song is the peal of experimental pop.
Simply one of the most pleasant songs ever made.
Beautiful opener to a great album! The celesta is the final perfect touch :)
The album deceptively kicks off with the come down song. With what's to come the band decide to start the record with the calm before the storm. A lovely track, almost conservative in it's delivery, and although Warhol's production is awful, it actually adds to the character and atmosphere of the song(and album, for that matter). Sunday morning, is a lovely first track.
This might be considered out of place on an album, but for such a diverse album with so man different feels and sounds I think it works just fine. Absolutely beautiful vocals and the celesta is just sublime and not the bad band.
chill af
It's a song trapped in the haze of a lazy Sunday morning-- anything goes, and the result is pure, ethereal beauty.
Sunday morning, and I'm falling... I've got a feeling I don't want to know...
