When I first heard this song I was extremely confused. This is hardly typical Velvets, and indeed it sounds like it could have been released this year. But it is pretty much as perfect a pretty song as you can get. Yet with a tinge of unsettledness - as if a massive coronavirus pandemic was just a couple years off the horizon.
