Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 87.0/100, a mean average of 87.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 89.3/100. The standard deviation for this track is 13.0.

The epitome of Johnny Cash reinterpreting other artists songs. I know that people tend to reference the cover of NIN's Hurt as the best cover version of his career. It's a great cover but for me, this is the greatest cover version that he did.
I love the original Soundgarden song, one of their greatest. This country rock arrangement takes the song to a new level and the switch at around 1min 30 sec to a belter of a guitar intro at that point is a goosebump moment.
Which version is the best? I don't care. They are both awesome in their own right. I'm just happy that both version exist
I have much nostalgia for this song, just because it was featured on Black Ops 2 zombies
