A gruesomely under-discussed gem in the Deep Purple catalog. It’s also another heavily influential set of sounds as they take a boogie feel and bring a heavier grandiosity to it.
I would assume Steve Harris of Iron Maiden heard this song early on.

One of the best DP songs!

Awesome drum intro and Gillan's vocals are hauntingly beautiful here. One of the most underrated Deep Purple songs.
