Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track is rated in the top 5% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 80.8/100, a mean average of 80.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 81.0/100. The standard deviation for this track is 10.7.

Really like this song. Sweet, soft, introspective tune reminiscently sounding of "Julia". Wish there were more like this on the album.

Apparently written in India in early '68 with the White album tracks. It's not surprising that it didn't make it on to the album. If it did it would have been one of Lennon's weakest contributions to the record, although it's certainly no worse than, cry, baby, cry. Obviously Lennon wasn't overflowing with material at this point and this is probably why this song ended up on the album. One of the lesser tracks.

The fingerpicking, melody and overall vibe take me right back to "Dear Prudence" and "Julia" from The Beatles.

Lovely guitar that really suit the song. The questioning of a man of himself.
