Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some artists can have several thousand ratings)
This artist is rated in the top 1% of all artists on BestEverAlbums.com. This artist has a Bayesian average rating of 84.4/100, a mean average of 83.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 84.8/100. The standard deviation for this artist is 17.0.

Con o sin los Beatles, extraordinario.
A great solo artist, mind games is one of my favorite songs ever. He was still much better with the beatles however
90/100

His contribution to The Beatles has sealed his place in history. Genius. His solo career though varied wildly. Plastic Ono Band and Imagine are excellent. Walls and Bridges very good. However, Sometime in New York City is a sprawling mess of embarrassing half baked political posturing and pedestrian music and Rock n Roll a huge missed opportunity, as he was a great Rock n Roll singer.Still an icon for his time with the Fab Four.
Fantastic artist in general. Was a great leader for the Beatles and a massively creative individual. His solo career obviously can't match that of his career with The Beatles but his first 2 studio albums are pretty great and he has lots of other great tracks here and there (Mind Games, Whatever Gets You Thru The Night, Cold Turkey)

He used to my hero. I would listen to his songs endlessly. But then during one computer expo I had to listen to "Imagine" 8 hours a day for a whole week. That was during Apple’s Think different campaign. Of course, that was not his fault but my love for him has certainly cooled off. Still love "Oh, Yoko" though.
Lennon famously had a photo shoot holding a pig by the ears, this was satirising McCartney's Ram album cover. Less famously Ringo did something similar with a Naked Mole Rat.
