Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track is rated in the top 3% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 82.1/100, a mean average of 81.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 82.3/100. The standard deviation for this track is 15.0.

I think you need to have the mood for it cuz sometimes it might feel annoying, but this sound surely fits with the topic of the song. Personally, I liked it.

My favorite song by Björk, and my favorite song of all time. Never has a song visually described feelings I never knew I had inside me actually show.

This song is to pop what heavy metal is to rock.

It's certainly a unique track in its instrumentation and beats, but its appeal is undermined by the obnoxious pitch shifting in her vocals, which make it bitingly harsh, and almost too difficult to listen to at times, particularly in the reiterative section from 1:46 to where it climaxes at 2:28. It builds and builds and becomes more and more abrasive, which I'm certain is what the mixer intended.

The track's lyrics concern the premise of rebirth, and it's important to note the interesting observation that Pluto is inter-related with the astrological sign Scorpio, a figurehead that is often associated with death and rebirth. It's apparent that this was not a coincidence, and Bjork, a Scorpio herself, meant for this significance to translate over to her audience. The disorienting mood of the song fits well with the idea of drinking away one's troubles and restarting the next day...
