Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 2% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 85.8/100, a mean average of 85.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 86.3/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.5.

One of Sabbath's greatest songs, the bass line, guitar solos, lyrics, hook-line it's all there.
Geezer fuckin Butler on this song, wow!
This is probably a personal statement by Iommi, since he's credited as the only author of the song
Sabbath were one inspired band at this time, this track drives along nicely, it's a real rocker, but they weren't just going through the motions, they were flying.
Shame they couldn't stay this good but who could? Just enjoy a glorious moment in rock history!

You said it, Jason!
This is one of my favorite tunes by the band. You just have to love those main riffs, one of which sounds very much like Allman Brothers to me.
Black Sabbath's answer to all the accusations of whether they were devil worshippers or not. The song isn't so much a call for conversion to Christianity as much as it is a call for people to think for themselves.
