Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track has a Bayesian average rating of 77.6/100, a mean average of 76.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 77.6/100. The standard deviation for this track is 15.1.

Central to the whole concept of The Wall and look what it leads into.
I like how powerful the backing choir and orchestral instrumentation are in this song, just for them to die out at the end and leave the lead vocalist singing the final word "home" on his own. It's a nice way to emphasise the isolation of the main character.
Integral to the album, but it's not a song I would ever listen to on its own. I'd say it's my least favorite song in the Wall but I can't deny that the lead in to Comfortably Numb is pretty epic.
I love the choral singing of this song, I think it's the most underappreciated part of the album. Short, simple, and segues nicely into the best song in the album with the is there anybody out there/in there contrast. Can't ask for more
Yeah! Bring them back home, just to listen to this....this, i don´t know, that´s why I love it
Just another song really, but Comfortably Numb is next. Woo!
Awesome, adventurous, and dramatic.
Not even sure how to rate this. It's not so much a song as it is a section of the album.
