Please, please, please, I beg you to tell me how, by any stretch of the imagination, Revolution 9 is a brilliant track.
Very hard decision - made me realize how great all the tracks were.
It had to go to No Surprises though - I'm a sucker for riffs.
Also are the verses to No Surprises and Let Down met to sound almost the same? Because I've always thought they were almost identical but haven't heard anyone else say otherwise.

I don't think they sound similar at all. Maybe on the surface, but the chord patterns underneath them differ quite a lot.
