Fall Out Boy
-I grew up with these guys. Huge influence to me.

Panic at the Disco
-A Fever You Can't Sweat out and Pretty. Odd are both really big records to me. Their new works is icky, but I love those albums without regret.

Pavement
-No one else really gets this band.

Kings of Leon
-Their earlier work is incredible.

Nicki Minaj
-This might be confusing, but bear with me. Her work is mostly pretty awful. However, she is clearly capable of being a great rapper. Look on her early mixtapes. Look at her guest work, particularly on Kanye West's "Monster," one of the greatest hip-hop songs of all time. She has talent, but she uses it for evil.

The National
-I have one friend who likes this, but no one else gets how absolutely genius these guys are.

I actually agree with you, I like her work with Kanye, but find her solo work unlistenable.

She's got some pretty dope rap songs imo. She's got an incredibly interesting style which i guess is what people either love or hate her for. Although this is coming from someone who loves her albums so...
