1. Seeded teams (as seen here) miss the first round. Captains for those teams can have a rest.
2. As a nominator of an artist, you have to promote your artist. Each matchup will be listed but you need to get your artist over the line to the next round.
3. Matchups will be open for 3 days (give or take) and will only be closed by the tournament organiser.
4. If a matchup is in a tie, the matchup will stay open until the deadlock is broken.
5. As a promoter, you can use clips, artwork and other links at your disposal. However, you cannot use side or solo projects as fodder. For example, Talk Talk can only be promoted using Talk Talk material, not Mark Hollis' solo work.
