Really love this album, at heart it's just a bit of fun but with the Sigur Ros charm.

I often hear people complain that it's too poppy, but we all need a bit of pop in our lives.

Starts out light-hearted and develops into deep melancholy. Great album.

This album is fantastic! If other Sigur Ros albums magically transport deep emotions like melancholy to the music, this album does exactly the same, but with happiness. Listening to it is such a joy, such uplifting, it truly makes me happy.
Gobbledigook is probably my favourite Sigur Ros song, and its videoclip is probably my favourite videoclip ever.
This album, Agaetis byrjun and Takk are tied for my favourite Sigur Ros album.

Great album, one of the band's best and one of my favourite albums from 1998. Horrible artwork though! Laughing

This might be the second or third weakest Sigur Rós album for me. That being said, I still adore this thing. It's so beautiful, and is easily the most dynamic of any Sigur Rós album, ranging from the fierce intensity of "Gobbledigook," to the gentle simplicity of "All Alright." It charges and flows, and, true to form, it's one of the most beautiful experiences in music.

Track picks
1. Gobbledigook
5. Festival
10. Straumnes
11. All Alright
