Various Artists - Hellfyre Club: Dorner vs. Tookie (2013)
A new free album from LA hip-hop label Hellfyre Club, hub of LA beat scene-inspired unapologetic art rap, home to Nocando, Open Mike Eagle, Busdriver and milo, amongst others. This is for people who like their hip-hop a little bit weird but still utterly danceable. It's dope. Enjoy.
see if i can make it through this (based on the reviews i've read)
It's actually a solid album. No ego, not serious, playful, and very fun at times.
The hate for it is an overreaction. It was his least quality album up to that time. But it is far from his least quality album now after 40+ years of hit and miss. _________________ -Ryan
