I just heard Modern Vampires of the City. That's my new favorite for the year. Actually, my favorite for the year is still Pure Heroine, by Lorde, but after that it's Modern Vampires of the City. I don't remember what I voted for, if anything, but I thought MVotC was really good.

Someone on this site recommended it to me (or else I pulled it from their List), so thank you, whoever you are. Sorry I can't remember who it was.
