2 albums I first listened to thanks to this tournament. Maxinquaye was an awesome surprise for the first ~40min, but then I got a little bored. I don't remember if it was because of the music of because I just wasn't paying enough attention to it. Weezer was also great but less different for me. I think my vote goes to Maxinquaye just because it surprised me so much.

I'm disgusted. .. . Not really. It's a big win for those albums that are up against the proverbial "empire" here on BEA of white men with guitars. Unfortunately I really just love Weezer. Darn.

Maxinquaye went up against a shitty beatles album and a shitty weezer album. Thank god it won both id have toaster stephened myself if it didnt.

I expected these results fully btw. Maxinquaye is not only a major album in general, but a pretty amazing one at that.
