Ask & Receive: All about our music.

Anonymous · 2014-01-02T12:09:25-05:00

In this thread we ask questions about music. Questions are asked in other threads related to music. The difference with this thread is it is all about asking the questions. This way we may learn a lot about someone in a much quicker time than elsewhere. If you want to receive questions then you must make a post saying that you wish to participate. From then on you must answer every question which is directed at you by another user in this thread. So yeah, be sure you want to participate before putting yourself forward. You're going to be asked questions until the thread drifts away and you are letting the side down if you do not answer some. [-X Have I explained the idea well? Remember it is questions about music. Use your imagination or simply ask what you have always wanted to know. Just ask questions related to music to the people who are participating! You can also ask questions to other people participating even if you are participating. HOW IT WORKS: People who are participating get asked questions about music. Questions can be asked by people who are participating and those who are not participating. By participating you must answer every question which is directed at you. People who are participating are free to ask questions to others who are participating. People who are not participating do not get asked questions. They may choose to join at any time but until they do we will leave them alone. @RockyRaccoon What Is Your Favorite Movie Soundtrack Of All Time?

Damn, that's tough. I'm going to answer it in two ways.

Favorite score- probably the score to The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Howard Shore's score is just beautiful. That little clarinet piece that's the theme for the hobbits is one of my favorite pieces. John Williams' Star Wars score is a close second, if not just for the nostalgia.

Favorite soundtrack- O Brother Where Art Thou? I love bluegrass and my dad got this soundtrack when the movie came out and I've loved it ever since.

Mercury, thanks for the answer, that was perfect. Really made me think of the song differently.

You're welcome, brother.

Now @rockyraccoon , what are your 3 favorite songs that prominently use the symbol, metaphor or literally a bird (of any kind) in its lyrics?

What Brazilian album would you recommend to a guy who has never heard one (ie. me)?
