Don't get me wrong - Intimate Rituals may find its way onto my charts, it's very much like a solo version of Nattvittje by Mikael Karlsson (which is performed by a quartet). That said, this tourney probably goes to Justin Vernon in my eyes. To clarify his stuff, his solo works are:
Bon Iver, Bon Iver by Bon Iver are more up to personal opinion if they are solo or no. Anyways, since it is hard to draw the ling with him/people forget he's also done stuff as Justin Vernon and JD Vernon.
For me, Justin/JD gets my vote for being lyrically very complex, musically hollow, and spiritually refreshing. To me, he's got one of my favorite combinations of musical talents. _________________
Horatiu is one of those high reputation artists that I enjoy greatly, but have yet to take the time to completely digest their discography.
I've tried Bon Iver a few times. Each time was to remember why I disliked the artist. At the moment, I can't remember why... again. Bon Iver has to be one of the most forgettable artists for me that I've ever heard.
So naturally, my vote is for Horatiu.
