Did Big Bill have a bigger influence as far as solo work is concerned? Almost certainly. Still don't like it as much as Reed.

I've always struggled to connect with Reed's solo work. He just never released an album I particularly enjoy (great songs here and there, and some extremely interesting ideas), and certainly nothing I like anywhere near as much as both volumes of Broonzy's Live at Montmartre. So yeah, vote to Big Bill.

I voted Lou Reed. I really like, but don't love, New York and Transformer. I also like some of Big Bill Broonzy's stuff. But, I don't remember as much as I would like of his music.

What about Berlin? I'd argue that it's Reed's best work
