A paper back copy of The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao that looks like it has never been read, and a hardcover copy of The Corrections which also looks like it's never been opened. I haven't actually read Oscar Wao, but I'm excited to read it once I have time. But I think the most exciting thing about the haul was the copy of The Corrections because a hardcover in Canada is like, $40 new for some reason, and it's a favourite 😄 They were both in this blue plastic tub.
EDIT: I've actually found a lot of books at Goodwill/ Value Village/ Thrift stores over time 😕 I rarely go to chapters for books. Sometimes Amazon if I really feel like it. But my copies of Atonement, The Catcher In The Rye, Life of Pi, Grapes of Wrath, The Great Gatsby, The Trial, The Help, Catch-22, Animal Farm and Persoplois set have all been found :). And a few others, but nothing too great. _________________ Doubles & Conch
