I gotta say thanks to you drak, you made me dig out an album called 'Life Sparks' by Woodstar - it's got a big Mercury Rev / Grandaddy influence and listening to it now it holds up pretty well (it doesn't seem to be on deezer etc. but here's a couple from it anyway for anyone who might be interested).
