Easily "The Smile Sessions". The fractured nature really made it for me. Sounded like Wilson's heart was breaking or at least he was slipping. I can tell it's just going to grow on me. It's an amazing album. As for "Brian Wilson Presents Smile"... I don't know, it just didn't have the magic for me. It felt like I was at a concert watching an old legend play and he's methodically going through "the hits" to satisfy everyone and get his paycheck. Didn't enjoy it. The soul felt gone, plus the sound quality felt very compressed and the changed arrangements to me sounded mechanical. Still great songwriting though but yeah. The Smile Sessions is much much better.
