Could I get some recommendations for some really good jazz albums? I'm looking for albums that could be regarded as essential or classic or widely critically acclaimed (though I would not object to some experimental jazz stuff, so long as it's great 😁 ) Just stuff that would show me, a jazz-listening novice, what is great about the genre and it's musicians.
For the sake of narrowing things down, albums with a sort of relaxing, smooth, sultry, funky or decadent vibe would be especially welcome, though I'll be open to anything even if your rec(s) don't necessarily fit those descriptions. 😄

I already know 13th Floor Elevators, Can, Os Mutantes, Traffic, The Residents (but their Not Available album is kinda inaccessible, any other suggestions?), and The Pretty Things, Small Faces, Red Crayola, MC5, the Monks
