Someone recommend me some psychedelic/rock albums from the 1960s that isn't within the BEA top 1000. I'm looking for something above 1000 but not TOO obscure.
I already know 13th Floor Elevators, Can, Os Mutantes, Traffic, The Residents (but their Not Available album is kinda inaccessible, any other suggestions?), and The Pretty Things, Small Faces, Red Crayola, MC5, the Monks

Thanks!

Good psychedelic albums from the 90s?
Better if not too famous, and better if not Scaruffi's favourites (I can easily look on his site for that).
Thanks ๐Ÿ˜„

I'm not sure if you mean neo-psychedelia or long-form psychedelic stuff like space rock or jam bands, so I'll list some favorites. I parsed out Yerself Is Steam for the purpose of avoiding a Scaruffi album as per your request, but I have not read the man in well over two years and never memorized his lists or anything, so I apologize if there is crossover. Also, I imagine some of my recommendations will be things you will have heard possibly, but in case you haven't, I enjoy these all and you should hear them:

Bufo Alvarius, Amen 29:15 by Bardo Pond

Vision Creation Newsun by Boredoms

Zaireeka by The Flaming Lips

Flying Saucer Attack by Flying Saucer Attack

The Gay Parade by of Montreal

Music From The Unrealized Film Script: Dusk At Cubist Castle by The Olivia Tremor Control

Ladies And Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space by Spiritualized

Radiator by Super Furry Animals

^ Thank you very much. I've already heard The Flaming Lips' discography, but I should give another listen to that album. Already heard the Spiritualized's album, too. Thanks for the others. ๐Ÿ˜„

Ps: If anyone else could help, any great form of psychedelia is well accepted.

I was trying to leave off Mercury Rev because, altough I haven't heard them yet, I surely already know I should, and I've already found them on many charts and sites. Already heard "Screamadelica". Thanks anyway, Nick, for the other ones. ๐Ÿ˜„
And thanks gussteivi, for that gem! ๐Ÿ˜„
